Pay to Play
Cheeky Monkeys is open from 9.00am seven days a week for pay to play. It’s only £3 per child for a play session which is excellent value.
We have a seating area alongside the play equipment so you can keep an eye on the children as they play which keeps them happy as they know Mum and Dad are never far away.
We have baby changing facilities for smaller children in the play area and have high chairs always available for smaller children.
Our friendly staff are always happy to help with any queries that you may have during your visit.
If you’re feeling a bit peckish during your visit then why not order a meal from our menu, food can be served in the play area or in the cafe it’s your choice.
On The Park
Cheeky Monkeys is situated on the Brampton Park approximately five minutes’ walk from Newcastle Town Centre.
The Brampton Park has a number of attractions for families with activities for all ages and has recently had £90,000 spent on upgrading the facilities. There is an outdoor playground on the park for children which are open all year round. Along with the play area there is a sandpit and water feature for younger children.
The park plays host to the Newcastle Borough Museum which has various exhibitions which take place throughout the year for all age ranges. The museum is free of charge all year round. There is also an aviary on the grounds which house a number of different birds and rabbits.
From the end of March until the end of September the Brampton Park Steam Train runs. This has been running for over 50 years by a group of local enthusiasts. There is no charge for rides on the train, donations are voluntary.
Throughout the summer months there is a face painter on the park who charger very reasonable rates and has a vast catalogue of fun designs for your children to choose from.
